In December 2025, the "Brotherhood" unit from "Timur's Special Unit" conducted a successful raid into enemy territory in the Zaporizhzhia region. This was reported by the military intelligence press service.
As a result of the operation, our scouts eliminated two Russian soldiers, wounded two more, and captured two others.
Following this, the "Brotherhood" fighters carried out a complex escort of the prisoners over a distance of about 27 kilometers, bringing them onto Ukrainian-controlled territory.
The captured Russians provided valuable information regarding the locations of enemy officers, artillery positions, UAV operators, and areas of troop concentration and ammunition depots.
This operation revealed significant weaknesses in the enemy's frontline defense: the adversary does not expect active actions from Ukrainian scouts deep within their positions and is incapable of mounting effective resistance in the rear.
After the operation's conclusion, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov recognized the fighters and commanders of the "Brotherhood" unit with state and departmental awards.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine showcased episodes of the "Timur's Special Unit" fighters' work in Zaporizhzhia, including the destruction of enemy hideouts and the capture of Russians.
