Since the start of the day, there have been 131 clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian military, focusing their main efforts on the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions, while also increasing activity in the Kostiantynivka area. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook as of 16:00 on December 2.
Today, Russian artillery has again shelled border settlements, including Bleshnya, Tymonovychi, Senkivka, and Khrynivka in the Chernihiv region, as well as Malushyne, Shalyhyne, and Novovasyliivka in the Sumy region. 
In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy attacks, with another clash ongoing. These frontline sections have experienced 78 shellings from the Russians today.
In the South-Slobozhansky direction, the Defense Forces halted eight enemy attacks in the areas of Prylipka, Synelnykove, and Vovchansk, towards Kolyadny and Izbytske. Two more clashes are continuing.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops made six assault attempts in the areas of Senkivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Nova Kruhliakivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked 29 times in the regions of Novovodyane, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Serednie, Karpivka, Shandryholove, Kolyadivka, Myrniy, and Zarichne, towards Stepove. Seven clashes are ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight enemy attacks near Yampol, Dronivka, Serebrianka, and Siversk. Another clash is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, there have been no clashes reported today. 
In the Kostiantynivka direction, defenders stopped 21 offensive actions of the Russian army in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultynyi, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka, and Rusyn Yar. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of the day, Russian troops have made 36 attempts to push the Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Mayak, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Dachne, towards Novopavlivka. Defenders are holding their ground: 32 enemy attacks have already been stopped.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the Russian army attacked nine times in the areas of Yalta, Oleksandrhrad, Sosnivka, Verbove, Krasnohirsk, and Pryvilne.
In the Huliaipole direction, three combat encounters have been recorded in the areas of Zatyshsha and Huliaipole. 
Russian aviation struck targets in Nova Zaporizhzhia, Huliaipole, Vozdvizhivka, and Zaliznychne.
In the Orikhiv and Dnipro directions, the invaders have not conducted offensive actions today. 
In other parts of the front, the situation has not significantly changed.
