On the night of November 7-8, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the gas infrastructure of "Naftogaz" using missiles and drones. This was confirmed by the head of the company, Serhiy Koretsky.
"One of our employees was injured and is currently receiving medical assistance. There is also damage to production equipment," he stated.
Rescue teams are currently on-site. Restoration work will begin as soon as the security situation allows.
"This marks the ninth targeted strike on civilian gas infrastructure since early October. This cowardly attack by the Russians aims to deprive Ukrainians of gas, heat, and electricity during the winter season," he added.
