On November 9 and 10, Dnipro has declared mourning for the victims who lost their lives due to the attack on a high-rise building last night. This was reported by the mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, via Telegram.
«Tomorrow and the day after, we will honor the memory of the deceased. Residents of 72 apartments in the nine-story building on Heroes Avenue will be relocated. Approximately 54 apartments will need repairs. The city will assist those affected by providing temporary housing», - the mayor stated.
He also assured that heating issues for the surviving areas (as well as for the residential districts of Prydniprovsk and Soniachnyi) are already being addressed.
Filatov noted that about 1,200 windows have been broken in buildings across the city, and there are damages to roofs and inter-panel seams. A support headquarters has been set up at Lyceum 130 on Heroes Avenue, 38.
«Anyone whose property has been damaged, please contact the administration of the Sobornyi district. They will help with the documents for the state program “eRecovery”, - the mayor said.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who remains on-site and provides assistance: rescuers, doctors, volunteers, regional military administration, law enforcement, utility workers, all his subordinates, benefactors, and caring citizens.
