Railway Infrastructure Attacked: New Strikes in Sumy and Kharkiv

A new attack on railway infrastructure in Sumy and Kharkiv led to significant damages.

Recent strikes targeted the railway infrastructure in Sumy and Kharkiv regions. An assault on the passenger depot in Sumy resulted in severe damage to essential facilities of "Ukrzaliznytsia", as well as the rolling stock.
To facilitate passenger transportation, substitute carriages were provided for train No. 779/780 Sumy — Kyiv. The train departed as scheduled.
Additionally, railway infrastructure near Lozova in Kharkiv region was compromised, causing train No. 228/227 Husiaryvka — Ivano-Frankivsk to take a detour.
"We are doing everything possible to minimize delays," – stated representatives from "Ukrzaliznytsia".
According to preliminary reports, no staff members of "Ukrzaliznytsia" were harmed.
It is also noted that as a result of the drone attack in Sumy, eleven people were injured, including four children.
