In Konstantynivka, Donetsk, the Russian army targeted a humanitarian evacuation vehicle belonging to the "Proliska" mission with a drone. Thankfully, no one was injured. This was reported by the humanitarian organization itself.
"On October 29, our evacuation team was transporting civilians from a war-torn area to a safer location. While in transit, an FPV drone targeted our vehicle marked with the humanitarian logo. Fortunately, all passengers survived. The vehicle sustained damage but remained operational. The electronic warfare system it was equipped with diverted the drone away – the impact occurred just a few meters away," the statement said.
Thanks to the armored protection of the vehicle, the damage was minimal: the armored windshield was shattered, and the bumper and lining were affected.
The "Proliska" humanitarian mission emphasizes that humanitarian workers are not targets, and all efforts must be made to protect those who save others.
Furthermore, this incident once again demonstrates the critical need for armored transport and electronic warfare tools during evacuations. "Today, we urge you to contribute to important fundraising efforts for acquiring electronic warfare equipment necessary for our specialists working in the hottest spots," the organization stated.
