A Russian drone struck a private kindergarten in the Coldnogirskyi district of Kharkiv, causing a fire. This was reported by the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, on Telegram.
"Impact on a private kindergarten in the Coldnogirskyi district, there are injured children. There is a fire at the site", - he mentioned in his post.
The mayor later confirmed that the children were evacuated.
"As of now, all children have been evacuated from the kindergarten. The fire is ongoing", - noted Terekhov.
Subsequently, the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported that at least four people were injured.
"There are known to be four victims from the enemy attack. At least two of them are in serious condition. Medical staff are working at the scene. Information is being updated", - informed Synegubov.
As of 11:30, the number of injured had risen to six, according to the regional administration head.
"We received information about two more victims from the Russian strike on Kharkiv. This includes a man and a woman, both are being hospitalized. The woman is in serious condition with burns. Medical staff are providing all necessary assistance", - added Synegubov.
