The number of injured due to the Russian shelling in Kyiv has increased to 22. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Telegram.
Two individuals, a man and a woman born in 1956 and 1959, lost their lives in the attack. Among the injured are 4 children, according to rescuers.
The strikes affected the districts of Darnytskyi, Desnyanskyi, Dniprovskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Solomianskyi; at least ten residential buildings were damaged.
Currently, firefighters are tackling a blaze in the Dniprovskyi district, and the fire has been localized.
Psychologists from the Kyiv emergency services have assisted 31 individuals. More than 340 rescuers and 83 units of equipment are involved in mitigating the consequences of the attack.
