Recent actions by Russian troops have led to renewed shelling of Kharkiv and surrounding areas, resulting in 62 civilian injuries. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov, on his Telegram channel.
“In the past day, the city of Kharkiv and 8 localities in the region were again targeted by hostile fire. As a result, 62 people were injured,” Synegubov stated.
Among the injured in Kharkiv are men aged 79 and 68, as well as women aged 75, 73, 44, 69, and 74; 50 hospital patients experienced stress reactions. In Kupiansk, women aged 78, 58, and 71, along with men aged 57 and 72, were affected.
The Russian forces attacked the Kyiv district of the city with drones, and the Saltiv district with two KABs.
The head of the OVA noted that electricity supply was restored to all consumers after the shelling.
Synegubov clarified that the Russian military used various types of weapons for attacks on the region, including: 2 KABs, 17 Geran-2 drones, and 4 FPV drones.
The shelling resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure. Specifically, in Kharkiv, a dormitory, an enterprise, an educational institution, a hospital, and 24 vehicles were damaged.
In the Kupiansk region, a vehicle (village of Blahodativka) and two private houses (city of Kupiansk) were damaged.
In the Kharkiv region, a private house (village of Kozacha Lopan) was affected.
A transit evacuation point in Lozova received 65 people in a day, with 43 remaining. Since the start of its operation, 7,361 individuals have registered at the point.
