On the night of October 14, Kirovohrad region suffered an attack from Russian forces. This has resulted in changes to the schedules of several trains, as reported by the Telegram channel “Ukrzaliznytsia: Suburban Trains” and the channel of Kirovohrad OVA head Andrii Raikovych.
“Due to the enemy shelling in Kirovohrad, we are making changes to the suburban train schedules today,” the message states.
Ukrzaliznytsia added that trains will run on altered routes (without stopping at the Tymkove station):
- №6035/6036 Pomichna – Dolynska (instead of Pomichna – Znamianka);
- №6041 Dolynska – Pomichna;
- №6466/6455 Vysun – Piatykhatky (instead of Tymkove – Piatykhatky);
- №6487 Kryvyi Rih – Vysun (instead of Kryvyi Rih – Tymkove);
- №6488 Vysun – Kryvyi Rih (instead of Tymkove – Kryvyi Rih).
Additionally, today some trains in Kirovohrad region will not be operating, specifically:
- №6039 Dolynska – Tymkove;
- №6040 Tymkove – Dolynska.
Meanwhile, Andrii Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad OVA, reported that the Russians continue to destroy critical infrastructure in the Kirovohrad region.
“This time, the territories of Dolynska and Novoprazka communities were affected. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties. There are damages to buildings. Five settlements are without electricity. Fires in the affected areas have been extinguished. All services are operational,” he informed.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine also confirmed the OVA's information, showing photos and clarifying that all fire sources have been eliminated.
