The Ukrainian air defense forces have neutralized 87 out of 112 enemy drones. This information was shared on the official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Force.
Starting from the evening of October 8, Russian forces launched an attack using 112 strike drones of various types, including Shahed and Gerbera, from several directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. More than 70 of these are Shahed drones.
The airspace defense was carried out by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
According to preliminary data, as of October 9, the air defense has destroyed 87 drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
22 strikes were recorded at 12 different locations. The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still present in the airspace.
