Russian forces launched an attack on DTEK's power plant, resulting in injuries to two workers and significant damage to the equipment. The company's press service reported this incident.
Preliminary information indicates that the injured workers received all necessary medical assistance.
"The equipment at the power plant has sustained serious damage. We are currently working on addressing the aftermath. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, our power plants have been shelled over 200 times," DTEK stated.
It’s worth noting that the government has decided to impose a moratorium on power disconnections in frontline communities. Russian forces have attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure once again. As of the morning of October 7, consumers in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions are experiencing power outages.
