On the night of September 17 to 18, the adversary launched a massive attack using 75 drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, and various other types, originating from Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. According to reports from the Ukrainian Air Forces on Telegram, over 40 of these were Shaheds.
The defense was mounted by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
As of 09:00, preliminary data indicated that the air defense had shot down or suppressed 48 enemy drones, including Shaheds, in the north, east, and central parts of the country.
Strikes were recorded from 26 attack drones at 6 different locations.
