On September 10, 2025, Ukrainian special forces from the GUR MO successfully executed an operation that led to the destruction of a Russian MPSV07 warship belonging to the aggressor's Black Sea fleet.
 This vessel was commissioned in 2015 and is valued at approximately 60 million dollars. The aggressor has a total of four such vessels.
 The MPSV07 warship is equipped with advanced diving systems, remotely operated vehicles, and a side-scan sonar. It can be used for seabed surveys. The ship has a power output of around 4 MW.
At the time of the attack, the Russian ship was conducting electronic reconnaissance and patrolling the approaches to Novorossiysk bay, where the aggressor had stationed remnants of its fleet.
 The strike was carried out by a Ukrainian combat drone targeting the command bridge, which houses the ship's navigation and communication equipment.
As a result of the strike, the electronic warfare systems onboard the enemy vessel were destroyed, rendering the ship inoperable and requiring costly repairs.
