Ukraine has experienced another attack targeting an energy infrastructure facility in the Kyiv region.
This information was shared by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
The aggressor is attempting once again to destabilize the Ukrainian energy system. This time, the target was a facility responsible for heating supply in the Kyiv area.
"The goal of the aggressor is clear - to create more difficulties for the civilian population, leaving Ukrainian homes, hospitals, kindergartens, and schools without electricity and heat. Generation facilities, transmission and distribution systems of electricity, and gas infrastructure are not military targets. The enemy is fully aware that they are attacking critical civilian infrastructure", - emphasized the Ministry.
Rescue teams and energy specialists are already working to mitigate the aftermath of the attack.
"We are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation as quickly as possible", - assured the ministry and promised to provide updates on any changes in energy supply.
