In the night of August 28, an attack was launched on the renowned Bayraktar factory in Kyiv. This was reported by Igor Zinkevych, co-founder of the NGO "Varta-1" and a deputy of the Lviv City Council.
According to his information, two strikes were recorded, causing severe damage to the production facilities, though the exact extent of the damage is still unknown.
"Despite the war and previous attacks, the company continued to invest tens of millions of its own funds, train personnel, and prepare production. Most of the facilities were nearly ready, and the main staff had completed their training," Zinkevych stated.
He also emphasized that this was the fourth strike on the factory in the past six months.
It is worth noting that during the massive attack by Russian forces on the night of August 28 in the Kyiv region, 70 enemy drones were shot down, which is a record number for interceptor drones.
