In Kremenchuk, located in Poltava region, unexploded cluster munitions have been discovered, posing a significant danger to the local population. These items are silver-colored and resemble balls, making them particularly hazardous for children.
This information was provided by Vitaliy Maletskiy, the head of Kremenchuk, along with the patrol police.
Quote: "If you see such items, do not approach or touch them – they can explode at any moment! Immediately call 101 or 102."
Be sure to inform children about this danger, as these munitions may attract their attention.
The Kremenchuk patrol police remind everyone: fragments or suspicious objects can be found anywhere. They remain dangerous and may explode even after some time.
What to do if you find a suspicious object:
- immediately call the emergency line 112;
- stay calm;
- warn people nearby and mark the area;
- move to a safe distance and wait for rescuers.
It is strictly prohibited to:
- approach the object;
- touch, lift, move, or dismantle it;
- throw, hit, or extract it from the ground;
- light a fire or use an open flame nearby;
- bring found objects to populated areas.
