A tragedy has unfolded in Kharkiv: a woman who sustained serious injuries from Russian airstrikes in the Kholodnohirskiy district has died in the hospital.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office on their Telegram channel.

“Unfortunately, the 34-year-old woman, who was injured in the attack by Russian drones, has died in the hospital,” the statement reads.

Mayor Igor Terekhov also stated that as a result of two series of attacks on July 7, 71 people were injured in Kharkiv.

“The number of injured has now reached 71, including 7 children,” his post says.

Among the injured are two boys aged 7 and 17, as well as two girls, aged 14 and 9, the prosecutor's office noted.

According to the Kharkiv City Council, 54 buildings were damaged, and over 1600 windows were shattered.

“As a result of enemy attacks that occurred today, 54 buildings were damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi, Slobidskyi, and Kholodnohirskiy districts. A total of more than 1,600 windows were shattered, 120 balcony glasses were damaged, 16 doors, and five roofs,” the city council reported.

Utility services are working to eliminate the effects of the explosions: sealing off areas and clearing debris.

In total, the enemy struck the peaceful city with 10 drones.
