The data center that experienced an outage affecting banks and other services has resumed operations for most clients.
This was announced by De Nova's CEO, Maxim Ageev.
According to him, the power outage at the data center lasted from 8:03 to 8:17. The reasons for the incident are currently unknown, although Ageev dismissed the possibility of a cyberattack.
He explained that routine maintenance was underway at the data center when an emergency activation of the automatic power switching system occurred, blocking access to the backup power supply.
Ageev noted that De Nova has restored services for most clients, and they are gradually resuming operations, but some companies are still “in line” for restoration, which will take several hours.
