DeepState UA has announced that it has not granted permission for any betting service to integrate with the DeepStateMap. The team emphasized that it has no connection to the platform that claimed to have "connected" to their data. The project considers the use of the map for betting on war events to be completely unacceptable.
DeepState believes that the external resource may have accessed the data either through a free API provided for humanitarian and military purposes, or by using parsers. Due to systematic attempts at unauthorized data use, the team has strengthened API controls and switched to individual keys.
Following DeepState UA's public statement, the Pentagon Pizza Watch service (which is behind this integration) issued an apology and announced the complete removal of the function. The service stated that it "mistakenly assumed" that the public endpoint could be used freely, and promised not to access DeepState data without explicit permission again.
Pentagon Pizza Watch is a project built on Polyglobe and is utilized by traders for betting on Polymarket, where prediction markets related to war events are created. The appearance of DeepStateMap data in these markets through Pentagon Pizza Watch sparked public outrage and prompted a response from DeepState UA.
