At the international event "Open Championship of Lithuania" held in Vilnius, Ukrainian swimmers showcased their talent by winning 15 medals.

This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

The gold medals were claimed by: Vadym Naumenko (400 m individual medley); Vadym Naumenko (200 m individual medley); Nika Sharafutdinova (200 m backstroke); Denys Kesil (200 m butterfly); Anton Denysenko, Denys Kesil, Maksym Ovchynnikov, Vadym Naumenko (4 x 100 m medley relay); Georgiy Lukashev, Anton Denysenko, Denys Kesil, Vadym Naumenko (4 x 200 m freestyle relay).

The silver medals were acquired by Maksym Ovchynnikov (100 m breaststroke), Maksym Ovchynnikov (50 m breaststroke), Anton Denysenko (400 m individual medley), Anton Denysenko (200 m individual medley), Georgiy Lukashev (200 m butterfly), Denys Kesil (100 m butterfly).

The bronze medals were secured by Denys Kesil (50 m butterfly), Nika Sharafutdinova (50 m backstroke), Georgiy Lukashev (400 m freestyle).

It should be noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported that 591 Ukrainian athletes have died during the war.
