The Ukrainian team will compete in three short track events at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Licenses were secured by Oleg Handey and Yelyzaveta Sydyorko.
Over the past two months, additional licenses were contested at four stages of the USI World Tour.
Competitions took place from November 27 to 30 in Dordrecht, Netherlands.
Licenses in individual events were earned through the top 32 in the Olympic qualification for 500 m and 1000 m distances, and top 36 for the 1500 m distance. The best three results from the highest-ranked short track athletes from each country were counted.
Handey maintained qualifying positions in two events, finishing 26th in the 500 m and 36th in the 1500 m.
Sydyorko secured a license for Ukraine in the 500 m event, where she placed 29th, bringing the only license for the women's events for the 2026 Olympics.
Licenses are not named, meaning changes from Ukraine's side are possible for these spots.
