From November 30 to December 7, 2025, the national sports competition 'HART' will take place in the capital. This event is organized by the 'Come Back Alive' initiative center together with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
The goal of the event is to create conditions for the rehabilitation of veterans through physical activity and the development of adaptive sports. The organizers emphasize that no professional sports experience is required to participate. Sports can serve as a vital tool for recovery after injuries, helping individuals reconnect with their bodies and find support among those on similar journeys.
The program includes wheelchair basketball and rugby, sitting volleyball, archery, swimming, cycling, laser run, powerlifting, and rowing on simulators.
More than 500 veterans and guests are expected to participate. Accommodation, meals, and logistics will be provided for participants.
The 'HART' national sports competition aims not only to promote adaptive sports but also to create a supportive community for those who have walked the path of service and recovery.
