Ukrainian freediver Kateryna Sadurska has once again made headlines by winning the Blue Element Competition 2025 in Dominica, sanctioned by the International Association for the Development of Freediving (AIDA). According to Suspilne Sport, Kateryna excelled in the constant weight no fins (CNF) event.
She dove to an impressive depth of 86 meters, surpassing her previous record from 2024 by two meters. That year, she had broken her own record three times, reaching depths of 80, 82, and 84 meters.
This achievement marks Kateryna's eighth world record in constant weight no fins. She has broken her own record at the Dominica competition for the third consecutive time.
Earlier, in the fall of 2025, she secured two victories at the AIDA World Championship: in the constant weight no fins category (75 meters) and in the constant weight with bi-fins category (97 meters).
