His team has not yet provided any comments on this matter. As reported by the WBO on social media, the Ukrainian boxer has made this decision to focus on new challenges.
The WBO expresses its profound respect and gratitude to Oleksandr Usyk — an undefeated two-time WBO world champion in different weight classes, who has brought honor and prestige to this title in modern boxing.
