Today, September 11, a significant event took place in the capital of Ukraine - the conclusion of the cycling expedition 'Hope on the Path to Change'. This initiative, organized by Jakub Kepka, began in the Polish city of Krakow and brought the participants to Kyiv. They were welcomed at the finish line by Olena Hovorova, the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Speaking about the event, Olena noted: 'Today we welcomed a delegation from Krakow, a sister city of our capital. Jakub Kepka, a Canadian of Polish descent, organized this expedition with the aim of raising funds to support people with amputations, providing them with necessary prosthetics and training Ukrainian technicians in modern methods in this field. Despite being 67 years old and living with a disability, Jakub continues to engage in sports and inspires others through his example. This initiative serves as an important reminder of the ongoing war in Ukraine and offers a pathway to rehabilitation for our soldiers through sports.'
The expedition 'Hope on the Path to Change' was held under the patronage of Krakow's Mayor Alexander Mishalski. This journey symbolizes resilience and calls on people to believe in their abilities and pursue their dreams.
