Deputy Head of the Kyiv City Administration, Olena Hovorova, congratulated Kyiv resident Yegor Yakushenko on his victory at the U-20 European Wrestling Championship held in Novi Sad (Serbia).

Yegor Yakushenko is a student of the esteemed Ukrainian coach Mykola Serhiyovych Yelarynov, who trains at the ‘Olympiets’ sports club of the Desnyansky Center for Physical Health of the Population ‘Sport for All’.

“Yegor showcased an impressive level of skill and a strong desire to win, serving as an example for many! Behind every medal are years of hard training and the dedication of the coach. Congratulations on this well-deserved victory that honors our country!” emphasized Olena Hovorova.

She added that every mention of Ukraine abroad is extremely important. Such victories not only elevate our nation's prestige but also remind the world of the armed aggression from the Russian Federation and the struggle of the Ukrainian people.
