On August 31, Odesa hosted a large-scale cycling festival, the Odesa Grand Prix, which has become a significant event in the city's history.
This year, the Odesa Grand Prix attracted cycling enthusiasts from the Republic of Moldova, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Nemyriv, and Zaporizhia.
On the second day of the competition, the Odesa Sprint Championship took place, known for its emotional intensity and fierce competition.
Among the winners in various age categories were local cyclists: Oleg Ivankov (Atlet CG), Andriy Pyrkh, Yuriy Anderson, Yuriy Smirnov, Andriy Hladkyi, Andriy Shvets, Serhiy Lychko, Hryhoriy Bayrak, Mykola Vakhrameyev, Vladyslav Salkov, Yuriy Smirnov (Project 13), and Hryhoriy Savenko.

The first Odesa Grand Prix races took place in 1995 under a cup system. In 2007, they became national events, and from 2015 to 2019, they were held as international competitions with a UCI second category.
