Yaroslava Mahuchikh — secured a silver medal at the Diamond League final in Zurich. The Ukrainian high jump record holder added her fifth medal from this prestigious tournament.

In a fierce contest for the gold in women's high jump, she was surpassed by Nicola Olyslaagers. The Australian cleared 2.02 m on her first attempt, while Yaroslava managed it on her second. Following that, Olyslaagers jumped 2.04 m, and Mahuchikh opted for 2.06 m. No athlete could clear that height, leading to a victory for Nicola Olyslaagers with a new personal best of 2.04 m. Yaroslava matched her seasonal personal record at 2.02 m.

Another Ukrainian athlete, Yuliya Levchenko, finished fourth, clearing 2.00 m for the first time in 5 years, but lost to British athlete Morgan Lake in attempts, who set a national record.
