Ulyana Stepanjuk from Ukraine has made headlines by claiming the bronze medal at the European Junior Championship taking place in Tampere, Finland.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian Athletics Federation, Ulyana finished third in the 100m final with a time of 11.53 seconds.
The gold medal was won by Italian athlete Kelly Dualla with a time of 11.22 seconds.
Earlier, in the semifinals, Ulyana set a personal best of 11.50 seconds.
The championship will continue until August 10.
