On the third day of the European Youth Olympic Festival 2025, young Ukrainian athletes celebrated a bronze medal!

This was announced by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

Athlete Vitalii Tarasiuk finished third in the 5000 m race walk with a time of 20:55.71. He holds the Ukrainian record for boys under 18 in this event.

The gold medal went to Italian athlete Nicolo Vidal (20:22.43), while the silver was claimed by Spanish competitor Gabriel Gonzalez (20:35.25).

This medal marks the fourth for the Ukrainian team at the XVIII Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje.
