The Director of the Youth and Sports Department of Kyiv, Yulia Mykolaivna, held a ceremony to award the city’s champions and medalists from the 2025 European Karate Championship, which took place on May 24-25 in Warsaw.

Achievements of Kyiv athletes:

• Teslenko Sava — European Champion

• Mezhensky Anton — Silver Medalist

It is worth noting that 1100 athletes from 27 countries participated in the championship, and the Ukrainian team secured 54 medals, finishing in second place overall!
