On April 13, a 41-year-old Ukrainian citizen attempted to cross the border into Poland at the Medyka checkpoint, as reported by InPoland.

At the Polish border, a Ukrainian man wanted by Interpol was apprehended.

During passport control, border guards discovered that the man was being sought by U.S. law enforcement.

The American authorities issued a request for his arrest and extradition (Red Notice).

The man is suspected of committing cyber crimes in the U.S., which could result in a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

The court approved the prosecutor's request for pre-trial detention for the Ukrainian citizen.

Since the beginning of 2025, Polish border guards have detained 50 individuals wanted in Poland and other countries.

In Poland, a Ukrainian soldier who had been on the run for two years was captured.

On March 28, Polish authorities arrested a Ukrainian serviceman who had evaded justice for over two years.

He left the country to escape punishment for a traffic accident that resulted in numerous injuries.

After extensive searches, the Polish police arrested the wanted individual and will hand him over to Ukrainian authorities.
