As part of the "Children's Hope" initiative, Kyivstar, together with the dobro.ua platform, has donated modern medical equipment to the National Rehabilitation Center UNBROKEN in Lviv. The new technology is already being utilized to assist doctors in treating children with burn injuries. The total value of the equipment is 8.3 million UAH.
This equipment marks a significant step in Kyivstar's support for upgrading the center's burn unit, providing doctors with the necessary tools for timely assistance to young patients. In total, over 33 million UAH has been raised for the program to help children with burns, with Kyivstar investing 28.3 million UAH.
With the allocated funds, a depth of anesthesia monitor, surgical table, oximeter, intubation video laryngoscope, patient monitor, defibrillator, and medical furniture for workspaces were purchased.
"For more than six years, we have been implementing the "Children's Hope" project together with our subscribers, supporting medical institutions throughout Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, we have focused especially on helping children with severe injuries, including burns. We are happy to be part of the changes that give children a chance for life and recovery", — commented Oleksandr Komarov, CEO of Kyivstar.
With the new equipment, the UNBROKEN Center becomes a reliable place for treating over 3000 children, including 250 patients with severe injuries, including burns.

Kyivstar will continue to implement the "Children's Hope" project and engage subscribers in the charity initiative, planning to further support the UNBROKEN center to improve medical assistance for children in Ukraine.
