Details: The UK Ministry of Defence stated that during the meeting of the defense leaders of the "coalition of the willing", security guarantees and ongoing support for peace in Ukraine from partner nations will be discussed.
"The UK and France are convening a meeting of defense ministers in Brussels to further plan measures to support long-term peace in Ukraine," European Pravda learned from the UK Ministry of Defence.
"UK Defence Minister John Healey and his French counterpart, Minister Sébastien Lecornu, will host around 30 countries participating in the planning of the "coalition of the willing", the statement reads.
This will be the first meeting of the defense ministers of the "coalition of the willing" following the recent visit of British and French military leaders to Kyiv.
"The meeting will focus on how to best utilize the capabilities of each coalition country to support Ukraine's long-term defense and security," the UK Ministry of Defence explained.
"The Prime Minister and Defence Minister have clearly stated that reliable security guarantees are necessary to deter Russian aggression and achieve lasting peace in Ukraine. The UK is enhancing its role as a leader of international support to assist Ukraine in its struggle and to provide it with the strongest possible position to ensure peace," the statement emphasizes.
