On Saturday, hundreds of thousands took to the National Mall in Washington and other cities worldwide to protest the actions of Donald Trump.
These events have become the largest since his return to the White House, according to AFP.
Mass Protests in the USA
In Washington, demonstrators held signs reading “Not my president!”, “Fascism is here!”, “Hands off our social safety net”, and “Wake up and smell the revolution!”
As noted by AFP, many Americans are concerned about Trump's aggressive actions regarding government downsizing and imposing his conservative values, which have led to a decline in stock markets.
Protests in European Cities
Additionally, demonstrations occurred in numerous European cities.
Protesters also voiced their dissent against President Donald Trump and his advisor Elon Musk. This was reported by Ukrinform.
In Frankfurt, the “Hands Off!” demonstration was organized by “Democrats Abroad,” the official organization for Americans living outside the country. Gathered at Opernplatz, people demanded Trump's resignation with slogans like “Restore Democracy”, “Hands off our personal data”, and “The world is tired of your nonsense, Donald, get out!”.
In Berlin, demonstrators protested outside a Tesla showroom, urging fellow citizens living in Germany to join the protest to “stop the chaos” in the USA.
In Paris, about 200 people, mostly Americans, gathered at the Place de la République to express their opposition to Trump.
Some delivered speeches condemning the president. Protesters waved signs stating “Resistance to Tyranny”, “Rule of Law”, “Feminists for Freedom, Not Fascism”, and “Save Democracy”.
Protests against Trump and Musk also took place in other European cities, including London and Lisbon.
