Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky engaged in a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, where they agreed to meet soon. Zelensky stated via Telegram,
emphasizing that now is the “right time to push for an end to the war” and to fully leverage existing opportunities to exert pressure on Russia.
He believes that pressure on the aggressor is crucial to resolving the conflict.
“We discussed with Emmanuel all relevant aspects of diplomacy and our recent contacts with partners. I appreciate the support. We agreed to meet soon,“ the president reported.
Earlier, Macron condemned the attacks by Russian forces on Ukraine's critical infrastructure and warned Russia of the consequences of refusing to engage in negotiations.
