Extension of Martial Law in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has extended martial law and mobilization until February 3, 2026.

The Verkhovna Rada has made a decision to extend martial law and mobilization for an additional three months, starting from November 5.
The law «On the Approval of the President of Ukraine's Decree "On the Extension of Martial Law in Ukraine" (No. 14128) was supported by 317 deputies.
At the same time, the law «On the Approval of the President of Ukraine's Decree "On the Extension of General Mobilization" (No. 14129) received support from 315 deputies.
Accordingly, the martial law and general mobilization will now continue until February 3, 2026.
It is worth noting that on February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, leading to the introduction of martial law and the declaration of general mobilization, initially set to last until March 26. Since then, parliament has extended these measures 17 times.
