On Monday, October 20, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha will participate in an EU Council meeting on foreign affairs in Luxembourg. He announced this on social media.
According to Sybiha, the meeting will focus on the next steps toward achieving a fair peace.
"Maintaining strong pressure on Moscow remains critically important, including the 19th EU sanctions package and the complete utilization of frozen Russian assets," emphasized the minister.
Sybiha will inform his EU colleagues about the latest Russian attacks on Ukraine and the need for energy assistance ahead of winter.
They will also discuss cooperation in defense and strengthening Ukraine's air defense and long-range capabilities, particularly through the PURL initiative and the SAFE mechanism.
The minister noted that during his stay in Luxembourg, he intends to hold several bilateral talks with our partners.
