The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, held a meeting in Berlin with Alexander Dobrindt, the German Minister of the Interior, where he emphasized the urgent need to strengthen defense measures against Russian aggression. A key topic was the provision of drones to support Ukraine's security forces.
Klitschko shared this information on his Telegram channel.
“During our meeting, we discussed the critical importance of ending the war in Ukraine for the stability of the entire Europe. The aggressor's plans remain unchanged, and the war continues,” Klitschko stated.
“Europe must realize that the time for discussion has passed. Decisive actions against the Russian threat are needed. The main focus must be on significantly increasing military support for Ukraine, as the future of the continent depends on it,” he added.
Klitschko expressed gratitude to Dobrindt for the decision to allocate 2 million euros for the purchase of drones for Ukrainian forces. Additionally, there are plans to transfer cargo vehicles to Kyiv's city services.
Alexander Dobrindt confirmed that Germany will continue to actively support Ukraine.
