The Central Election Commission has declared Tetyana Chornovol as a member of the Ukrainian parliament after receiving documentation confirming the early termination of Andriy Parubiy's powers.

This announcement was made via Facebook by the CEC.

"The CEC reviewed the documents and recognized Tetyana Chornovol, the next candidate in line from the 'European Solidarity' party, listed as number 27, as elected to the Ukrainian parliament in the given elections," the CEC stated.

Details: In 2019, Parubiy was elected as a member of the 9th convocation from the 'European Solidarity' party in position number 2 on the list as an independent. He is a member of the corresponding faction and serves on the committee for national security, defense, and intelligence.

Tetyana Chornovol was included in the electoral list of 'European Solidarity' under number 27.

It is noteworthy that on August 30 in Lviv, the serving MP and former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, was killed.
