As a result of a night assault from Russia, 4 people have been killed and 44 have been injured in Ukraine.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.

"Today I spoke with Emmanuel Macron. We discussed the brutal night assault. Unfortunately, four lives were lost and over 44 sustained injuries in Ukraine. Our emergency services are still managing the aftermath of the attack across the country," he stated. 

Zelensky noted that both parties coordinated their diplomatic efforts for an adequate response.

"Together with France, we are preparing new measures to strengthen our defense," the President remarked.

As of 1 PM in Kyiv, 20 people are reported injured. Additionally, a government building caught fire due to the Russian strike.
