Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized on Monday the necessity of U.S. President Donald Trump's attendance at the talks on May 15 in Turkey.

I endorsed Donald Trump's idea of a complete and unconditional ceasefire – one that is long enough to lay the groundwork for diplomacy. We want this, and we are ready to ensure silence on our part".

Details: The head of state added that he is prepared for the meeting in Turkey and hopes that the Russians will not avoid it.
