Turkey has completed the initial phase of developing the Sakarya gas field located in the Black Sea. Daily gas production has reached a record high of 9.5 million cubic meters.
This was announced by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, Alparslan Bayraktar, via social media platform X, according to Ukrinform.
“The first phase of the Sakarya gas field is complete. Daily production stands at 9.5 million cubic meters,” the minister stated.
He noted that this volume of natural gas is sufficient to supply 4 million households, and efforts to increase production will continue.
