On April 18, the Kyiv region experienced two tragic incidents related to fires caused by the burning of dry vegetation.

Details: In the Boryspil district, at 18:14, a fire broke out in Pereyaslav affecting the grassy area.

During the firefighting efforts, the body of a deceased man was discovered.

Earlier, at 11:00, a fire occurred in the village of Mostyshche in the Fastiv district over an area of 5 hectares.

Due to strong wind gusts, the flames quickly spread to three nearby outbuildings, where another victim was soon found.

Quote: "We reiterate: burning dry vegetation is extremely dangerous!

This activity can lead to large-scale fires, destruction of property, and, most tragically, to loss of human lives".
