Mastercard's New Lounge at Kyiv Train Station: Comfort for Travelers

The company Mastercard has launched a new lounge at the Southern Railway Station in Kyiv, enhancing comfort for travelers. Lounge ONE: Kyiv provides everything needed for a pleasant wait, including work and relaxation areas, food and drinks, and baggage storage facilities.

The lounge spans 400 square meters and accommodates 90 guests, located on the third floor of the station, accessible via stairs, escalator, or elevator. It offers barrier-free access for people with disabilities. The lounge operates around the clock but closes during air raid alerts for safety.

Holders of premium cards World Elite Mastercard® and World Mastercard® Black Edition can access the lounge for free.

Access to the lounge requires presenting a Mastercard card and a train ticket for the day of the visit. Children under 7 can enter for free when accompanied by an adult. Guests can stay in the lounge for 1.5 hours, with the option to extend for an additional fee. Pets are also welcome in the lounge.

Features of Lounge ONE: Kyiv by Mastercard include:

Work and relaxation areas: High-speed Wi-Fi and 21 charging outlets for devices. Comfortable seating for work or leisure.

Food and drinks: Free coffee, tea, water, and snacks. Each guest can order one complimentary dish from Milk Bar.

Meeting room: A separate space for business meetings that can be reserved in advance or used without a reservation if available.

Additional amenities include shower cabins equipped with towels and hygiene kits, as well as secure storage for belongings.

Lounge ONE: Kyiv expands Mastercard's offerings for travelers on Ukrzaliznytsia. The Meet&Greet service assists with luggage and security checks at the station.

According to a recent Mastercard Travel Insights study, 51% of Ukrainian consumers choose trains for their travels. 47% travel as much or more than before the war, and 39% prioritize comfort and service. Key reasons for travel include visiting family and friends, relaxation, and business trips.

In partnership with Ukrzaliznytsia, Mastercard has implemented several services to enhance travel comfort. In 2022, the company supported the launch of the UZ mobile app, through which over 50 million tickets have already been sold.
