One of the largest banks in the country has introduced a new design for a virtual card dedicated to Ukrainian soldiers held captive. This initiative serves as a daily reminder of the defenders of Mariupol who are still imprisoned.
PrivatBank now offers a new skin for the virtual card featuring the phrase “Free Azovstal Defenders.” This was announced by the Association of Families of Azovstal Defenders.
Users can set this design in the Privat24 app under the “Design” section in the card settings — in the “Charity Projects of PrivatBank” tab. The card with this design can be used for everyday transactions.
According to the association, the aim of the initiative is to maintain public attention on the topic of the soldiers who defended Azovstal in Mariupol and have been in captivity for an extended period. It serves as a visual reminder in daily life of the need for their release.
Family representatives of the defenders emphasize that such symbolic elements in daily use help keep the focus on the issue of prisoners and express solidarity with the military and their loved ones.
