Estonia is set to allocate 3 million euros for the support of Starlink satellite communication in Ukraine. This was reported by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal following a meeting with his Estonian counterpart, Hanno Pevkur.
"During the JEF meeting, we discussed strengthening air defense, drone manufacturing, and establishing joint defense enterprises. We appreciate Estonia's participation in PURL. Ukraine is also ready to engage in SAFE projects that will foster mutual development of our defense industries," Shmyhal posted on social media X.
He also mentioned discussions with his Estonian colleague regarding the training of Ukrainian soldiers under the Legio operation.
Shmyhal expressed gratitude for Estonia's proposal to allocate 3 million euros for the purchase and support of Starlink systems.
"We continue to insist on the confiscation of frozen Russian assets - the aggressor must pay," he added.
