Restoration of Historical Building in Kyiv

Restoration of a significant historical building is set to begin on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street in Kyiv.

The city of Kyiv is initiating the restoration of a building located at Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street, 51-A. According to the Department of Territorial Control of Kyiv, this structure is recognized as a local historical landmark.
Between 1906 and 1908, an underground printing house operated here, and from 1906 to 1913, it housed the Higher Women's Courses where the Ukrainian writer Zinaida Tulub studied.
The restoration project has been approved, with a budget allocation of 5.5 million UAH in 2025 to commence the works.
The project is expected to be implemented from 2026 to 2028, with a total cost of 119.8 million UAH. The tender process began on October 24, 2025.
