Drivers in Ukraine will soon have the ability to manage their license plates online without the need to visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers. This decision has received approval from the government.

The new service will allow drivers to store their license plates in the "Diia" app after re-registering their vehicles or changing their technical passports, and to associate them with new vehicles. Previously, drivers had to go to a service center where their plates were stored. Now, they can keep them at home in a digital format.

Additionally, the app will offer:

• viewing saved license plates;
• changing storage methods and extending their validity;
• reserving plates and selecting preferred combinations from their "stock" for new vehicles.

The launch of these new features for drivers in "Diia" is expected soon.
